Dear amazing supporters,
A little over a year ago we started this amazing crowdfunding journey. GlobalGiving has introduced us to so many new supporters and we are thrilled to have formed this community here. As we approach the end of the year, we would like to thank you for your generous donations, that have gone a long way: the families that were supported at our refuge have changed their stories from victims to that of survivors and have moved on to leading independent and better lives.Thanks to your support we have been able to achieve so much for hundreds of women and children in need this year and we are excited to now start the works to open a second refuge.
As the government continues to cut funding for women's refuges, every pound we get through crowdfunding fills a vital gap for us to continue our mission. In 2018 we will be able to welcome more women and their children fleeing domestic violence, sex trafficking and abuse. We are keeping our heads above water, and we won't give up.
We hope you will continue to accompany us on this exciting journey next year.
