We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Vision Support: Eyeglasses for 100 Female Nurses project. Your contribution reflects care for frontline health workers serving in underserved communities. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the planned eye care support.
Across many rural areas in Nigeria, female nurses continue to work with untreated vision problems. Long hours and limited access to eye care services make it difficult for them to get proper diagnosis and corrective lenses.
Poor eyesight affects their ability to read prescriptions, monitor patients, and carry out clinical tasks accurately. This not only impacts their well-being but also affects the quality of care patients receive.
This project is designed to provide 100 female nurses with eye screening and prescription eyeglasses. Each participant will receive proper testing and fitted glasses to support their daily work in clinics and health centers.
With the right support, these nurses can perform their duties more effectively, reduce errors, and continue providing care with greater confidence.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this program and reach those who need it most.
