The Estudio Damgo 7 team is currently working on its second and third phase of construction out of five, which are the treatment of bamboos and concrete works, respectively.
For the treatment of bamboos, all 16 main posts have already been treated, wherein 8 bamboos are now assembled to its respective pedestal. The treatment is still ongoing using the chemical ‘Termite X’ mixed with water with a 1:100 ratio (1 gallon of chemical is to 100 gallon of water).
For the concrete works, all 4 main pedestals are now done which is now subject for the assembly of the main posts. As mentioned, 8 bamboos have already been assembled, that is equal to 2 main pedestals.
The assembly of the main posts is expected to be done by the end of this week, wherein the team can proceed with the construction of floors after that. The pouring of concrete on the other 4 external pedestals (lateral support) is now done and is now on its procedure of curing. Bamboo scaffolding is now done.
Unexpected delays of the construction were met due to force majeure. The team couldn’t push through with the trip on a bad weather since the road to the site is too risky. Other reason is due to lack of workers/manpower on the site. With that, the team has decided to hire 5 skilled laborers for a speedy work.
