EDUCATE 540 CHILDREN IN RURAL Tamil Nadu
Vidyarambam Trust started Learning Centers in the month of AUGUST 2014 in Primary Schools at Sankarankoil Block, Thirunelveli District, TamilNadu. Vidyarambam has launched the program in 9 villages namely Sevalpuram, Subbalapurm, North Azhagunachiyarpuram, Duraisamipuram,Gopalakrishnapuram,Najnapuram, EastTiruvenkadam, Veerannapuram and Paraipatti. In all, 540 children were enrolled out of them 304 are girls and 236 are boys. There are 199 children of age group 4 to 6 ( KIDS), 167 from age 7 & 8 (JUNIOR) and 174 children from age 9 &10 (SENIOR).
The KIDS group children will not be subjected to any test and their achievement of basic skills will be evaluated at the end of the course. For children of Junior and Senior groups their skill levels have been tested and recorded at the Beginning and at Mid Level. The report of the test results is given below.
