We are thrilled to share with you the remarkable progress achieved during the second quarter of 2024. Thanks to your unwavering support and generosity, Stray Paws Loreto continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of street dogs in our community.
Major Achievements (April - June 2024)
Spay/Neuter Program Success During this quarter, we successfully spayed and neutered 62 dogs. This critical intervention not only improves the health and quality of life for these animals but also helps control the street dog population in our community.
Food Security Initiative We provided essential nutrition support by donating 16 sacks of food for strays to ensure our four-legged friends receive proper nourishment throughout the quarter.
Comprehensive Health Protocols Our team implemented complete health protocols for 15 street dogs, including spaying/neutering, deworming, and full vaccination schedules. This comprehensive care program ensured these animals receive the medical attention they deserve.
Community Outreach and Education We continued our robust social media campaign focused on pet care and responsible pet ownership. Our educational content provides valuable tips for community members on how to help street dogs in their neighborhoods, fostering a culture of compassion and responsibility.
Free Veterinary Services We launched a new initiative sponsoring a free veterinary clinic once per month for community members who lack the financial resources to provide medical care for their pets. This program ensures that economic barriers do not prevent animals from receiving necessary healthcare.
