Veterinary Care and Food for Loreto Stray Dogs

As we approach the end of the year, we wish to share with you the progress and impact of our collective efforts in providing veterinary care and food for the stray dogs of Loreto. September Highlights

In September, we successfully conducted:

• 30 dog sterilizations to prevent overpopulation.

• 47 veterinary attentions, offering essential medical care to dogs in need.

October Highlights

October marked a milestone with:

• 286 dog sterilizations, an outstanding achievement to curb the growth of stray populations, through a joint campaign with Loreto Non profits

• 11 veterinary attentions, focusing on dogs requiring immediate care.

November Highlights

November brought:

• 56 dog sterilizations to maintain our efforts toward controlling the stray population.

• 20 veterinary services, which included vaccinations and emergency care, ensuring the health and safety of Loreto’s dogs.

Advocacy and Community Efforts

We are thrilled to announce the formation of the Loreto Pro Animal Municipal Committee in November. Stray Paws Loreto AC is honored to be a part of the board, where we will collaborate with local authorities to:

• Support public policies that protect stray animals.

• Prevent abuse and neglect.

• Promote health and well-being for both animals and the Loreto community.

This collaboration reflects the goodwill of the new municipal administration, which, despite limited resources and budget, is committed to improving animal welfare in Loreto. Their dedication inspires us to continue our mission with renewed vigor.
