Disaster Aid USA is partnering with Rotary Districts 4380 & 4370 in Venezuela and Disaster Aid Brazil to assess earthquake damage and coordinate aid. Daily coordination with Rotary leaders and joint assessment teams will identify unmet needs and deliver resources where they are needed most. Our strong Rotary partnerships and prior joint deployments with DA Brazil enable a fast, flexible, and community-driven response. Flexibility is a key to filling in the gaps of aid to the community!
On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela just 39 seconds apart. Centered near Moron in Carabobo State, the quakes caused severe damage in Caracas, collapsing buildings, damaging roads, public transportation, and the international airport. A state of emergency was declared. At least 164 people were killed and more than 970 injured as rescue efforts continue.
Your donation will help provide emergency relief to families affected by the Venezuela earthquake. Funds will support damage assessments, emergency shelter, clean water, food, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and other essential relief items as determined by our local partners. Working with Disaster Aid Brazil and local Rotary partners, Disaster Aid USA will help deliver aid quickly to the communities that need it most.
Long-term recovery efforts will be determined following the emergency response and recovery phases, based on assessed community needs, Rotary Districts & Disaster Aid USA's capabilities, and available funding.
