Disaster Aid USA is partnering with Disaster Aid Brazil and Rotary clubs in Venezuela to assess community needs after the earthquake and coordinate needed resources, personnel, and aid. Disaster Aid USA and Disaster Aid Brazil have worked together on prior projects, and Disaster Aid Brazil's close Rotary contacts in Venezuela will help reach affected communities quickly.
On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 struck Venezuela just 39 seconds apart. Centered near Moron in Carabobo State, the quakes caused severe damage in Caracas, collapsing buildings, damaging roads, public transportation, and the international airport. A state of emergency was declared. At least 164 people were killed and more than 970 injured as rescue efforts continue.
Your donation will help provide emergency relief to families affected by the Venezuela earthquake. Funds will support damage assessments, emergency shelter, clean water, food, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and other essential relief items as determined by our local partners. Working with Disaster Aid Brazil and local Rotary partners, Disaster Aid USA will help deliver aid quickly to the communities that need it most.
Long-term recovery efforts will be determined following the emergency response and recovery phases, based on assessed community needs, Disaster Aid USA's capabilities, and available funding.
