Recently, here at VE Global we focused in on creativity with our children's art program. Our volunteers and kids spent the last couple of months taking pictures, creating art and/or stage performances. The art included tiny sculptures made from clay, paper snowflakes, to an interpretive dance complete with brightly colored masks. Many of our volunteers took the kids on museum field trips to learn about art in Chile as well. All this fun was in preparation for our biannual event, Festival de Arte, which brought together six institutional partners and approximately 30 children. From providing the children with a healthy snack to making sure they all had time on stage, our volunteers helped make the day truly rewarding for the kids.
