Kids at school in Chile start having English as part of their curriculum in middle school, but oftentimes classes are too big to get all the practice that everyone needs to learn a new language. VE Global helps support language education because the kids we work with need lots of support and confidence building activities to show them that learning a new language can be fun.
As part of VE's English in Motion program, VE Global volunteers and kids recently tested their English language skills during VE's first eXtreme English day. Girls of all ages from Hogar San Francisco and Refugio de la Misericordia got into teams and worked with the volunteers on numbers, colors, clothing and other important English vocabulary to help boost their confidence for English classes at school!
A special thank you to Hogar San Francisco for hosting the day! Fun was had by all!
