Summary

Disease prevention is key to public health. It is always better to prevent a disease than to treat it. Vaccines can protect both the people who receive them and those with whom they contact.

Challenge

The major challenge especially in low -income family containing longstanding infectious disease and where problems are perpetuated poverty and lack of adequate health and sanitation infrastructure. For example, pneumonia is the leading cause of child deaths under the age of 5 worldwide every year. Diarrhoeal diseases are the second leading cause of childhood mortality globally despite the availability of an effective vaccine for toravirus, the major cause of enteric infections.

Solution

The project will vaccinate new born babies, preschool-aged children and family affect cause of malaria.

Long-Term Impact

the potential for reducing transmission can be greatly aided by training community health workers to diagnose and manage malaria.
