Construction at the USAP Community School building site continues at an intense pace, with our goal remaining to complete the first phase of the campus by the end of this year. The builders have poured foundations and are now working on the brick work to bring up the classroom and lab walls. They are building three girls' residences and three boys' residences and 8 teacher's houses.
We have folded this specific project, which was linked to a USAP Run/Walk, into our larger GlobalGiving school building fund, #35817, Build the USAP Community School in Zimbabwe, where you can continue to support us as we build our permanent school.
Fundraising is ongoing and we thank you for your continued support!
We are excited to report that we have started our construction of the student residence with the laying of foundations before the rainy season ( December - February) in Zimbabwe. The student residence is one of the many school buildings including classroom block, science block, dining hall and staff residence in Marondera, Zimbabwe. Our goal is to finish the construction project in order to move from our rented campus in Goromonzi beginning the third term of the 2023 school year!
We look forward to updating you with progress on construction at our permanent campus over the next several months.
Thank you for your generosity and we look forward to your continued support to make our dream a reality!
