During December we continued the virtual training on prevention of sexual exploitation of children and teenagers, carrying out the last meeting of the course. This project was supported by the National Parliament of Uruguay and by the National Committee for the Eradication of Commercial and Non-Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (CONAPEES).
For this meeting it was suggested that participants could share activities carried out in their local communities regarding prevention of sexual exploitation after the training given by Claves’ team. This time was one of exchange and learning from different experiences for the participants.
During this past time, the project against sexual exploitation was presented at two city halls in Uruguay and at diverse international cooperation organisms for its financial support and continuity as a strategy of prevention of violence.
