Multifaith Alliance’s Response in Gaza
Starting September 2024, Multifaith Alliance (MFA) has brought together humanitarian organizations from across the region to safely and securely procure, transport, and deliver aid into northern and southern Gaza. Also called the “MENA Aid initiative”, each of MFA’s partners is contributing their respective positioning and expertise to overcome the unique challenges of aid delivery in Gaza. Since resuming our field activities in late May, we have been steadily increasing our volume of deliveries to both northern and southern Gaza. As of July, MFA has been the only organization delivering ready-to-eat food baskets directly to families in need throughout northern Gaza; we are the only NGO outside of UN agencies with access in this area. We have also resumed activities in southern Gaza, prioritizing safe aid deliveries directly to vulnerable families.
