"Urgent Medical Relief: Help Save Lives in Lebanon - Q4 2024 Progress Report"

Progress Report:

Current Status:

We have raised $240 out of our $250,000 goal (0.096% of target). While this represents a modest start, American Aid is actively working to increase awareness and gather more support for this crucial initiative.

Financial Overview: • Total Campaign Goal: $250,000 • Amount Raised: $240 • Remaining Goal: $249,760 • Percentage Complete: 0.096%

Activities During This Period:

  • Launched fundraising campaign on GlobalGiving platform
  • Developed comprehensive outreach strategy
  • Engaged with community leaders and potential donors
  • Created awareness about medical needs in Lebanon

Challenges and Opportunities:

  • Initial fundraising has been slower than anticipated
  • Current global economic conditions affecting donation patterns
  • Need for broader donor reach and engagement
  • Significant gap to reach our $250,000 target

Interim Goals and Impact Potential: While our ultimate goal is $250,000, we can begin making an impact with partial funding:

  • $25,000 would allow us to start providing basic medical supplies and support
  • $50,000 would enable us to assist multiple families with urgent medical needs
  • $100,000 would help us establish a sustainable medical assistance program We are committed to beginning aid distribution once we reach these smaller, actionable milestones, rather than waiting for the full amount.

Current Efforts:

  1. Campaign Promotion:
    • Increasing social media presence
    • Engaging with community organizations
    • Reaching out to potential institutional donors
    • Developing partnerships for wider reach
  2. Resource Optimization:
    • Maintaining 100% transparency in fund management
    • Building infrastructure for efficient aid distribution once sufficient funds are gathered
    • Establishing connections with medical providers in Lebanon

Next Steps:

  1. Intensify fundraising efforts through:
    • Community events
    • Social media campaigns
    • Direct donor outreach
    • Partnership development
  2. Prepare for Implementation:
    • Identifying the most urgent medical needs
    • Establishing distribution networks
    • Creating assessment criteria for aid recipients

Message to Donors: While we are still at the beginning of our journey, we want to emphasize that we don't need to reach the full $250,000 to begin making a difference. Every contribution brings us closer to our first milestone of impact. Once we reach sufficient funding levels, we can begin providing immediate assistance to those most in need, while continuing to work toward our larger goal.
