Urgent Appeal for Disability Support

By Nicholas O. Ondiek | Chief Executive Officer

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In our community, the number of children living with disabilities continues to rise — and tragically, some of these disabilities are the result of preventable causes, such as snake bites. Many of these incidents occur because families live in unsafe, poorly constructed shelters that leave them vulnerable to dangerous wildlife.

Through our partnership with Shelter Equity in the USA, we have begun addressing this urgent need by building affordable, safe houses for vulnerable families. These homes not only provide dignity and security but also protect children from the environmental hazards that can lead to lifealtering injuries.

Current Status

So far, this project has not yet received any donations through GlobalGiving. While this is a challenging start, our commitment remains strong. The need is urgent, and every day without action puts more children at risk.

Why Your Support Matters

Your contribution will directly help us:

  • Build safe, disabilityfriendly homes and a special school for atrisk families.
  • Reduce the risk of snake bites and other preventable injuries.
  • Provide a secure environment where children with disabilities can live, learn, and thrive.

How You Can Help

  • Make a donation today — every gift, no matter the size, brings us closer to protecting another child.
  • Share our project page with friends, family, and networks who care about children’s safety and dignity.
  • Consider a recurring gift to sustain our work month after month.

Looking Ahead

With your help, we can break the cycle of unsafe housing and prevent more children from suffering avoidable disabilities. Together, we can create a safer, healthier future for the most vulnerable in our community.

Thank you for standing with us in this mission.

With gratitude,
Nicholas O. Ondiek
