Challenge

This is our students' voice, sharing their challenges and aspirations: As young African scholars supported by AAI, we have the drive and potential to create lasting change-but turning these ideas into reality requires additional resources and support! In Sub-Saharan Africa, youth unemployment is high, and startup funding is limited. With your help, we can access the mentorship, training, and exposure needed to transform our projects into successful, impactful ventures.

Solution

This project will provide AAI Scholars with entrepreneurship training, resources, and mentorship required for projects that address community challenges through practical, impactful solutions. Your donations will not fund direct startup costs but will cover the costs of entrepreneurship courses, specialized training programs, competition fees, and travel expenses for networking events. These elements are crucial for transforming innovative ideas into tangible, sustainable solutions.

Long-Term Impact

Many AAI graduates are working on solutions, such as projects that expand orphanage facilities to support more children in Uganda, visit primary schools to educate young girls about menstruation, and design educational platforms that increase access to learning for underserved communities. These ambitious initiatives highlight our scholars' commitment to driving change.
