We are very proud to share this good news with the whole world. In the current academic school year (2016-2017) 86 of our sponsored children from Uplift a Child Organization in India have appeared for the Public SSC exams (Equivalent to Grade X). Out of them, only 2 failed and 84 of them have passed with flying colors. That means 97.67% of our children succeeded. Out of those who passed, 2 of them have secured a 100% GPA (10/10) and those 2 students are the toppers for the whole school competing with the well to do students at their schools in the city. That meant more for us as we could see the determination in our students who have really worked hard and proved it to the world that we can do it with a little help. A special thanks to the school teachers and volunteers who have helped all our children succeed. Kudos to all our Uplift a Child children.
Harish Vangalapudi and Ramu Mekala are the Toppers with a 10/10 GPA (100%) Score. These 2 are the recipients of Boggavarapu Awards for many years which have inspired and encouraged them and other students to compete and get a rank for which there is a cash incentive. This is another example of how our Uplift a Child program works. We are a result orientated organization doing our best to make a difference to the less fortunate children for education. As of today, we have 800 sponsors supporting 4,000 children. We would like to invite and welcome like-minded individuals to join our family. We are sure to produce at least 100 IAS/IPS range graduates in the next 10 years. The path is very clear and success is eminent with our style of operations. Congratulations to all our children on their success……. Sam Vonumu – CEO, Uplift a Child International, Inc.
