Uplift a Child - 4000 Children

Dear Friends and Supporters of Uplift a Child International,

It is always a pleasure to update you all on the current happenings and provide you with a status report of our activities. The children are very happy with a lot more energy as they are in Schools since the month of June. They have already completed their quarterly exams and now preparing for their half yearly term exams. In one word, “They are very happy at School”.

Out of our 700 new children this year, we were able to connect sponsors for 580 children. We still have 120 children without sponsors and we will surely succeed 100% in the next 2 months time with people’s support and their blessings on our children.

Month of September and October have been very busy for all of us at Uplift a Chld in USA with 3 fund raising activities in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware states. They were successful and we were able to raise some money through which 100 children are able to connect. From the 100 children, we are able to pay for 20 children for 12 years of education (LKG to Grade X) Below are some of the reports of the events along with the event pictures on face book.

2015 Delaware Karma Bollywood Musical -Nisha Punjabi Dance Event, Newark - DE, October 3

This was our biggest event ever so far with over 900 people. Made $48,000 and have converted 51 of the audience to permanent sponsors to support 71 children. This was our first program in the sate of Delaware. This program has also inspired many local Schools to participate in our noble cause and every one started doing their own independent fund rising. It was such a rewarding experience.

Now we are getting ready to plan for next year and below are our planned events in India to meet at least 2000 of our children during the annual children programs to encourage and inspire our children to do well. We will update you with a report next year on each and every location activities. If anyone of you is visiting India during those dates, we welcome you to join us.
