Recently I have been to India and visited more than a 1000 of our Uplift a Child children along with our Uplift a Child India team. We have conducted annual children programs at various locations. I visited mostly South India and some our team have visited North India. We had a great time celebrating the success of our children while rewarding them for their hard work. We are now getting ready to coordinate School admissions for our children in India, Nepal and Philippines for the 2014 school year. Right now, children are enjoying their vacation time at home spending time with families, visiting relatives or eating Mangoes at home during the hot summer months. While they are enjoying, our volunteers are actively working on buying School Uniform cloth, taking measurements for stitching the uniforms, buying books, shoes, socks etc. so that our children look sharp with their new school uniform by the admission time.
We are thankful to 3 Dance Schools in USA for their contribution to perform a charity event with the help of their Dance School students. If you are in the area and would like to participate, please email me. Below are the dates. All the proceeds go to support children for education.
