Uplift a Child - 4000 Children

Dear Friends and Supporters of Uplift a Child International,

By now, we have completed the School admissions for all of our children within our network in all 3 countries – India, Nepal and Philippines. We are happy to see them very busy at School becoming better citizens with their learning process. We are thankful to all of our sponsors who are our strong pillars in seeing these children succeed with their gift of education and support.

Below are few updates on our recent activities from February to July,

Children Activities in India:Swachh Bharath Initiative from Uplift a Child India

300 of our children along with the help of our Uplift a Child volunteers have participated in adopting a specific section of the city which is dirty, cleaned it up and have educated the public to be responsible while littering around. This was witnessed by thousands of people in the little town of Tuni, E.G. District in AP, India

Children Activities in USA - Cake & Bake Sale by Rachana Krishnan & Team

These are High School Children in USA who are devoted to the principles of caring and giving. We are thankful to Priya and Gopala Krishnan for encouraging and inspiring their children and other youngsters in the society to start making a difference at a very young age.

Our Children in Flying Colors – 10^th Grade Results in India

We would like to share the good news of our children’s hard work in India. From our network, we had 59 students appear for the 10th grade public exams and out of them 57 of them have passed with flying colors. Only 2 of them failed. That means 96% of our children have passed. We do have 2 of our children secured 9.7 GPA (97%). With their limited resources, they have competed with the rest of the world and have succeeded. While we celebrate the success of our children, we will spend extra time in taking care of those 2 who could not make it. With God’s blessings and continued hard work, we will succeed. It is always happy news for all of us at Uplift a Child to see our children competing with the rich children at School and passing their grades with good results. Many of them are now out of School and have started junior college. Most of them are now self supporting students doing some type of work to pay for their tuition.

Sad News – We lost one of our sponsored children to an accident

Jayanth was one of our sponsored children since 7 years. He went for swimming and never returned back. Please click on the link above to see his pictures. All of us are saddened with this sad news.

Earthquake in Nepal – Uplift a Child Nepal team made a Difference

We are thankful to many of our sponsors and friends in USA who have come out of their way caring for the victims of the disaster. In a small way, we were able to help out and benefit few Nepalese families and we pray for God’s blessings on them as they are currently putting their lives together to get back to normalcy.

Fundraising Activities: We are thankful to some of our dedicated fans of Uplift a Child International for doing the below events to raise funds so that we can support more children for education. Uplift a Child at San Antonio, TX: 2015 GC-SDA World Conference

We got the opportunity to represent Uplift a Child International at SDA world conference (GC 2015 Sessions) at San Antonio, TX (USA) from July 5-11. This was an international conference with delegates from 227 countries. The dome was almost full with approximately 70,000 people. We had a great turnover with good results representing at the exhibit hall.
