Our Afropia Collection blends Africa’s heritage, creativity, and commitment to sustainability. Each piece, made from recycled materials, connects tradition with bold, modern designs. Wearing Afropia means embracing a story of identity, resilience, and self-expression.
This collection was created through the collaboration of brilliant minds in an inspiring workspace, brought together by a shared vision—celebrating our continent and the importance of sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials. We were able to take our team to source and thrift all of the materials used in this collection from local markets, anything from jeans to curtains and blankets, whatever sparks our creativity. By taking young designers to local markets, we hope to be building a future of sustainable fashion designers and fashion. Using second-hand fabrics also is key to our sustainability mission, by helping reduce the need for new textiles and encouraging others to make more eco-friendly fashion choices. Because why not work with what’s already out there?
