Building on the success of our Unsilence choose-your-own-pathway experiences -- like TOMORROW, which supports teachers to talk about mental health and suicide -- Unsilence has just launched a new online interactive exhibit.
Our new exhibit tells stories, through photographs and testimonies, of THE SISTERHOOD, a collective of mothers, all women-of-color in Chicagoland, each of whom has lost a child to gun violence. Narrated by the mothers and featuring the powerful photographs of acclaimed Chicago artist Cecil McDonald, Jr., the free online exhibit tells of how the mothers support each other in grief and take action toward justice and healing.
We are so grateful for your ongoing support. Our work is only possible because you believe in what we do. If you are able, please consider making a contribution today to support our work.
