Progress Report of "Underprivileged Children Support in Bangladesh" Project of GlobalGiving
Period: January-March, 2025
Dear Honourable Co-fighters of development,
Greetings from Dakbhanga-Bangladesh (DBD).
As part of an educational initiative for disadvantaged children, Dakbhanga Bangladesh (DBD) has been running two Early Childhood Development centers in the isolated Ramu sub-district of Cox's Bazar district, Bangladesh, since 1998. We appreciate the kind donors. The project's children attend school from ECD to Grade V, and after that, they don't have enough money to maintain themselves. Our funding is being considered for around 350 impoverished young stars in two schools and three feeder schools. Out of our 350 pupils, we used to help over 80 of them financially and materially. School uniforms, health education & after-school tutoring are funded by devoted people like you. Furthermore, we are committed to protecting their rights in order to allow them to reach their maximum potential in terms of social, emotional, and physical development. We have developed a variety of club activities, including debate clubs, dance, music, and the arts, as well as their fundamental liberties. We have more dedicated events out of classroom education, like the annual picnic, club activities, exchange visits, CPD (teachers) events, art competitions, and different participatory activities that were usually organized for the students of our project.
