Project Report | Oct 6, 2025
Report for July-September 2025

By Anna Kutova | project manager

Project Summary

Light Medical Clinic was established to provide safe, stigma-free, and inclusive healthcare for communities that often face discrimination — including LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV, and sex workers. Since opening in July 2025, the clinic has become a trusted space where people can receive both medical and psychological support without fear or judgment.

Impact and Achievements

During the reporting period, we were able to provide 89 essential healthcare and mental health services, including:

  • Gynecologist consultations – 8

  • Follow-up psychiatrist consultations – 12

  • Individual psychologist consultations – 16

  • Group psychologist sessions – 16

  • Family psychologist consultation – 1

  • Online psychologist consultation – 1

  • Psychotherapist consultations – 30

  • Online psychotherapist consultation – 1

  • CSD-8 laboratory tests – 8

  • Ultrasound diagnostics – 5

Each service represents more than a number — it reflects a person who received care, support, and respect. Many of our clients shared that this was the first time they felt fully accepted and heard in a medical setting.

Key Improvement

Thanks to the generous support of GlobalGiving donors, we were able to purchase an ultrasound machine. This has significantly improved our capacity to provide timely diagnostics and expand our range of medical services.

We have attached video materials and supporting documents to this report to demonstrate the clinic’s work and the impact of your contribution.

Gratitude and Next Steps

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the GlobalGiving community and everyone who believed in this project. Your support has helped us turn an idea into a functioning, inclusive healthcare space that already changes lives every day.

In the coming months, we plan to:

  • Continue offering free and low-cost consultations for vulnerable groups;

  • Expand our mental health support programs;

  • Strengthen outreach efforts to ensure more people know that safe, nonjudgmental care is available.

Thank you for standing with us and helping build a more compassionate healthcare system in Ukraine.
