As of today, Light Medical Clinic is preparing for its full-scale opening in July. In the meantime, basic services are already being provided from temporary offices in another location — including consultations with a family doctor and psychological support for LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV, and sex workers.
During the reporting period, over 100 psychological consultations were provided, and approximately 30 declarations were signed with the family doctor. This reflects a strong demand for safe, inclusive, and patient-centered healthcare services.
We are committed to creating a space where everyone can access high-quality medical care free from stigma and discrimination. However, to launch the full range of diagnostic services, the clinic urgently needs an X-CUBE 70 Elite ultrasound system.
As of now, only $60 has been raised out of the required $58,000. Fundraising efforts are ongoing.
The clinic continues to work on mobilizing resources to fully launch its diagnostic services and strengthen its capacity to provide accessible, high-quality, and inclusive healthcare for vulnerable communities.
