Helping the Elderly in shelters

SmartAID is providing crucial support to the elderly in Ukraine during the harsh winter. Despite representing only 24% of the population, older people account for a third of the war-related deaths due to their limited mobility. Many struggle to reach shelters or receive humanitarian aid

SmartAID team is addressing the challenges of reduced access to healthcare, and essential services by distributing medical equipment, installing solar-powered generators to ensure that hospitals and clinics can continue operating despite power cuts.

The team has provided thermal blankets, hygiene kits, and other essentials to elderly Ukrainians in shelters.

Our commitment to harnessing innovation and technology to save lives and alleviate suffering remains unwavering.

In 2025, an estimated 12.7 million people, including many elderly individuals, need humanitarian assistance. Our initiatives are crucial in ensuring that the elderly, especially those with disabilities, receive the support they need to survive and maintain their quality of life during these challenging
