Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to Mbarara Rise Foundation. Your support continues to bring hope and protection to vulnerable communities in Southwest Uganda facing discrimination, violence, and economic hardship.

Over the past months, we have continued responding to the growing protection needs of minority youth and other marginalized individuals who remain at heightened risk of eviction, family rejection, physical violence, loss of employment, and restricted access to healthcare and other essential services. Our team has provided emergency shelter, psychosocial support, legal referrals, food assistance, and linkage to healthcare for those in crisis.

Beyond emergency response, we are helping individuals rebuild their lives through vocational skills training, financial literacy, and community-based support groups that promote resilience, confidence, and economic independence. These interventions are reducing isolation while creating opportunities for participants to regain stability and dignity.

Despite this progress, many challenges remain. Stigma and discrimination continue to discourage many people from seeking healthcare, reporting abuse, or pursuing employment. Limited economic opportunities, unstable housing, and ongoing fear of violence leave many individuals vulnerable, particularly in rural communities where support services remain scarce.

Your generosity is helping us provide immediate protection while investing in long-term solutions that strengthen livelihoods, mental well-being, and community resilience. Together, we are creating safer spaces, restoring hope, and ensuring that vulnerable people have the opportunity to live healthy, productive, and dignified lives.
