A brief flow of the workshop: “Positive Thinking”
With the aim to develop positive attitude and making the fellows realize the power of positive thinking in their lives, the workshop started with an activity to show how much our attitude and perception matters in our individual lives.
The workshop also enabled the fellows to realize the power of magical words “I CAN” and “AASAAN HAI”.
Another activity using silver balls, pulses, ground flour and water showcased the fellows that events and news come our ways and make us feel worried or angry or sad for as long as we allow it, which is for as we focus on thoughts that feel bad. This activity helped fellows to discover that what we think influence the way we feel which in turn influences how we deal with situations in our lives. I also discussed a number of tools, tips and techniques which can help develop and maintain a positive attitude in almost every situation.
The workshop ended with the promise by all the fellows that they made with themselves to put in practice each and every technique that they learnt to develop positive attitude even in difficult situations.
Feedback from fellows:
Many of the fellows found workshop was excellent as topic raised was of their interest and the various activities and stories made it easier for them to understand the difference between positive thinking and negative thinking.
Fellows’ (facilitator) experience sharing after conducting the workshop:
Conducting a workshop was really an exciting and empowering experience for me as it facilitated me to have a wider look in the areas to be improved.
A brief flow of the workshop: “Effective Communication Skills”
Conducting this workshop enabled me to realize that it was a single step I had taken. I need to think a lot in coming days to keep on moving to achieve some of the aim set by my subconscious mind to be able to help people around me in whatever little way I can.
Across most disciplines and industries, communication skills are listed as the top skills required by employers. Well-developed communications skills are a must, not only for getting hired and future job advancement, but for almost every aspect of day-to-day communication in any career. Besides in the last quarterly workshop in April, a number of fellows expressed their desire to have workshops on professional advancement specially how to face an interview and to improve personality. Keeping all these in mind this topic on Communication Skill is selected.
The topics covered in the workshop:
What is communication and communication skills, Communications goals, Most common ways to communicate, Types of communication, Barriers to communication, Communication process, Communication code scheme, Components of communication, What makes a good communication, How to develop the communication skill and exploring the related field, Tips to good communication skills.

5. Workshop on 22.09.12 by Mr. Anil Behal, MSM, MA, Managing Director and Founder, ORGDYNE Training & Consulting, LLC (USA)
A brief Introduction of the workshop:
NEGATIVE CAPABILITY AND ITS ROLE IN ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND TEAM BUILDING
"Negative Capability" is one the lesser-known concepts, yet its importance in leadership and team building cannot be underestimated. All organizational leaders (internal and external) are called upon to exercise this skill in varying degrees; however, it is perhaps one of the most difficult competencies to master. Management programs and courses certainly do not teach you how to develop this skill. Without the ability to "contain", you simply cannot access the unconscious mind of the individual, group, or organization. It is too easy to get into dispersal, and look for immediate solutions, as opposed to sitting with uncertainty and paradox when dealing with complex organizational issues.
Learning outcomes:
Ability to hold paradoxes and polarities
Interview of parents of short listed fellows on 26.09.12
Total 148 successful candidates were called for the personal interview along with their parents. Accordingly they appeared in the interview which was held in the Mahavir Model Senior School.

External factors that stopped you from achieving the desired results:
Some schools’ non cooperative attitude preventing the scholarship in reaching out to many and needy. Though we have received the permission letter from the Directorate of education though quite a few schools did not take initiative.

Quarterly workshops being organized in a sequential way facilitated in greater learning of a particular topic as it gives ample time to the fellows to go through the various aspects of the subject.
Preparing the senior fellows to conduct workshops based on their learning and experience is highly facilitating the personality development aspect.
