Typelevel open source projects power critical software systems used in healthcare, childcare, finance, and scientific research. It is important that our projects are actively maintained and secure against vulnerabilities.
We started the Typelevel Foundation to improve the sustainability of our open source ecosystem. We mentor and train new open source contributors and support their growth to become project maintainers. We also do research in the field of functional programming, to advance our projects and harden them to security vulnerabilities.
By investing in education and mentorship, we will grow our community in both people and ideas to ensure active and ongoing development of Typelevel's open source projects and support our industrial adopters.
