We want to help vulnerable population of the Iringa district (central area of Tanzania)to protect themselves agaist the Coronavirus. Our actions are aimed at the people with disabilities and poor families, who need help throught the emergency. Our activities will involve the translation of informative tects about the prevention of the virus, the distribution of sanitary kits and informative meetings with the population. We will also install 5 water wells that will fuction thriught a pedal-system.
The population is not informed about the measures to take agaist the coronavirus, as most of the materials is not avaible in their native-language. Furthmore, they lack the materials and devicesto fight agaist the spread of virus. The poorest families of the district and the people with disabilities are the most vulnerable during these difficult times. There is the need to spread clear information ant to provide the tools and knowledge to prevent infection.
Our solution is divided in two parts: information and action. We will make sure that people will have an easy and clear access to information about the virus, how to prevent it, its risks and how to handle the consequences. In addition, we will take action and provide sanitary kits to families, which will include gloves, masks, soap and handsanitizer. The town wells, which represent a risk of mass infection, will be fitted with pedal-systems, in order to minimize hand contact.
Thaks to your donation we will support families of the Iringa district through this difficult times, and make sure that they are ready for this emergency.
