Update on Trybe's Counselling & Therapy Service

By Gerald Poh | Fundraising Manager

Dear Donors,

We hope this report finds you well. We are pleased to provide an update on the progress of Trybe's Counselling and Therapy Service (CTS) project, a vital initiative aimed at providing essential mental health support to individuals in need.

1. Unique Beneficiaries: Since the inception of the CTS program, we have successfully reached and provided assistance to a total of 19 unique beneficiaries. This signifies the positive impact and growing reach of our counselling and therapy services within the community.

2. Total Sessions and Average Sessions per Month: As of November 7, 2023, a total of 128 counselling and therapy sessions have been conducted. On average, we are consistently facilitating 40 sessions per month, reflecting the ongoing commitment to addressing the mental health needs of our beneficiaries.

3. Programme Completions: We are proud to report that three individuals have successfully completed the programme. Completion is defined by finishing one cycle of 10 sessions and mutual agreement to conclude the program. This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of our approach and the positive outcomes our beneficiaries are experiencing.

4. Waiting List: Currently, three individuals are eagerly awaiting intake into the program, and their participation hinges on the availability of donations to support their counseling and therapy sessions. This underscores the persistent demand for our services, and we are actively working to streamline the intake process, ensuring that these individuals can access the support they need as efficiently as possible.

What's Next
Our team is excited to announce that we are actively pursuing partnerships with Voluntary Children's Homes (VCHs) in Singapore. The objective is to extend our counselling and therapy services to youths who currently lack access to these crucial support services within their respective VCHs. By forging these partnerships, we aim to positively impact the lives of more individuals and contribute to the well-being of the community.

We are optimistic that this expansion will bring about meaningful change in the futures of these youths, offering them the support they need to navigate life's challenges. We look forward to the potential transformation that these collaborations can bring and are committed to making mental health services more accessible to those who need them.

We remain dedicated to delivering high-quality counselling and therapy services and are grateful for the support provided by donors. The positive trends in the numbers and the completion of programme cycles affirm the impact we are making in the lives of those seeking mental health support.

Your generous donations play a pivotal role in making these sessions possible, and we appreciate your continued support in helping us meet the growing demand for mental health services in our community.

Thank you!
