We would like to say Thank you to all current donors of our project so far.
At the start of June 2023, we have officially launched our Counselling & Therapy Service to provide support and care to youths and their families who are unable to afford such services.
To make it more accessible to those who need it most, our Counselling & Therapy Service is heavily subsidised, aligning it with the per capita household income of each family. This approach ensures affordability or even free access for eligible individuals. Currently, $50,000 is placed into the subsidy fund. However, it is quickly depleting due to the average requirement of approximately 10 sessions per youth.
Youth suicides in Singapore (10 to 29 years old) have been rising every year by at least 10%
2019 – 94 lives lost
2020 – 101 lives lost
2021 – 112 lives lost
2022 – 125 lives lost
Youth suicide is a deeply concerning and heartbreaking issue that we can no longer ignore. Each young life lost signifies immense pain and unrealised potential.
Addressing youth suicide requires a collective effort. Help us create a world where every youth feels seen, heard, and supported.
