QUARTERLY REPORTRevive S/East: Go Green-Bio & Solar for Climate (54616)Reporting Period: Quarterly Update

1. Introduction

This report provides an update on the progress of the Revive S/East: Go Green-Bio & Solar for Climate project (ID: 54616). Our mission is to promote climate resilience, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and green entrepreneurship across Southeast Nigeria by empowering young people with innovative, climate-smart solutions.

Although we did not receive external financial support during this reporting period, we remain committed to advancing our mission through innovation, volunteer efforts, and the continued support of our social enterprise.

2. Appreciation to GlobalGiving

We sincerely appreciate GlobalGiving for providing a trusted platform that connects grassroots organizations with compassionate supporters around the world.

Although we have not yet received external donations for this project, we are grateful for the opportunity to share our vision with the global community. We remain optimistic that future partnerships and donor support will enable us to expand our climate action initiatives.

3. Funding Status

During this reporting period, the project did not receive any external financial donations.

Despite this, we continued investing our own time, expertise, and limited resources through our social enterprise to sustain research, innovation, community engagement, and project planning.

4. Project ActivitiesSamony Solaratech Innovations

Through Samony Solaratech Innovations, we continued developing renewable energy solutions that promote clean energy adoption, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and empower communities with sustainable solar technologies. Our long-term vision is to improve energy access while creating green jobs for young people.

Samony BioEcotech Solutions

Through Samony BioEcotech Solutions, we continued advancing climate-smart technologies, biomass utilization, organic waste recycling, bioenergy solutions, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation. These initiatives are designed to create livelihood opportunities while reducing environmental pollution and supporting the transition to a circular economy.

Youth Empowerment for Green Jobs

We continued promoting youth empowerment through green entrepreneurship by encouraging innovation, skills development, and participation in renewable energy, bioeconomy, and environmentally sustainable enterprises.

Community Climate Awareness

We strengthened awareness on climate change mitigation, environmental protection, renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable natural resource management through community engagement and advocacy.

5. Social Enterprise Support

Although external funding has not yet been secured, our social enterprise continues to sustain this project through in-kind contributions, technical research, innovation, volunteer engagement, and prototype development.

Over the past three years, we have consistently invested in developing sustainable technologies and practical climate solutions that integrate renewable energy, biomass utilization, food innovation, and environmental sustainability. These ongoing efforts have laid a strong foundation for future large-scale implementation once funding becomes available.

6. Estimated Impact

Despite limited financial resources, the project has continued to generate meaningful early-stage impact.

Community Reach

  • Approximately 30–50 individuals reached through climate awareness and environmental sustainability education.
  • 15–20 youths engaged in discussions and learning activities on renewable energy, bioeconomy, and green entrepreneurship.
  • Increased community awareness of climate resilience, clean energy, and sustainable environmental practices.

Innovation Progress

  • Continued research and development of solar energy, biomass, and bio-based technologies.
  • Ongoing development of sustainable climate solutions through Samony Solaratech Innovations and Samony BioEcotech Solutions.
  • Strengthened collaboration with volunteers and community stakeholders committed to environmental sustainability.

7. Challenges

The primary challenge remains the lack of external financial support to expand research, procure equipment, implement pilot projects, train more young people, and scale community-based climate solutions.

Additional funding and strategic partnerships will enable us to accelerate implementation and create greater environmental, economic, and social impact.

8. Prospects and Future Plans

In the coming months, we aim to:

  • Launch pilot renewable energy and bioeconomy demonstration projects.
  • Expand youth training in solar technology, biomass utilization, and green entrepreneurship.
  • Develop community-based climate adaptation and environmental restoration initiatives.
  • Strengthen partnerships with government agencies, educational institutions, development organizations, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Scale Samony Solaratech Innovations and Samony BioEcotech Solutions into sustainable enterprises that create jobs while addressing climate change and environmental degradation.

We remain confident that future donor support will enable us to transform these innovations into practical, community-wide climate solutions across Southeast Nigeria.

9. Conclusion

Although we have not yet received external financial support for this project, our commitment to climate action, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment remains unwavering.

Through innovation, volunteerism, and the continued support of our social enterprise, we are laying a strong foundation for a greener, more resilient future.

We sincerely thank GlobalGiving for providing this platform and look forward to partnering with donors who share our vision of empowering Nigeria's next generation through clean energy, bioeconomy innovation, and sustainable climate solutions.

With sincere gratitude,

Rosita
