Our veterinary team sterilized and vaccinated 8 vulnerable animals against rabies in frontline Kramatorsk, where access to veterinary care remains extremely limited due to the ongoing war. These animals are cared for by soldiers who continue to stay in the city protecting it from occupation.
By providing preventive vaccinations, we are protecting both animals and the people who care for them from one of the world's deadliest zoonotic diseases. Every vaccinated animal also contributes to reducing the spread of rabies in communities where routine veterinary services have largely disappeared.
Thanks to GlobalGiving supporters, we are able to continue delivering essential veterinary care directly to frontline areas, ensuring that even a small intervention can have a meaningful impact on animal welfare and public health.
