We would like to provide you with a concise overview of the significant progress achieved through your generous support in advancing our psychosocial intervention in Palestine.
Your financial contributions have been instrumental in securing a contract with the Ministry of Education. This collaboration enables us to extend our intervention in schools, with our initial focus centred on the Ramallah area in UNRWA schools as well refugee camps. Furthermore, strategic plans are in place to broaden our reach and impact in the West Bank, East Jerusalem as well as further exploring feasibility of our support for Gaza.
We have developed a comprehensive manual for trainers that has been greatly enhanced by your contributions. This resource is invaluable in optimising the efficacy, consistency and sustainability of our training program. In conjunction with the Performing Arts Network, we have conducted drama training sessions led by lead professionals, enriching the quality of our initiative.
Presently, your continued support is steering our campaign aimed at impacting 2,000 children in 2024 through our psycho-social intervention program. This initiative involves meticulously designed art therapy and psychology workshops, establishing a network of proficient facilitators and counsellors to offer essential support. So far we have reached 650 individuals and we are scheduled to work with another 600 in February 2024.
While the genocidal war continues, your steadfast support remains the cornerstone of our endeavours. Your commitment to our mission empowers us to navigate obstacles more freely and make a meaningful impact despite the ongoing hardship.
