Dear friends,
Trotoara Foundation started a series of events called TRAP fest 2017. Our goal is to promote TRAP, to reach bigger audience, to find volunteers, sponsors, donations, and gather young people participating together in the areas which we will cover in TRAP after it's opening on 1st of October this year.
We have finished 3 big events, and two more are coming.
EARTH HOUR 2017 event - 25.03.2017
We organized a concert to promote the Earth Hour initiative in Mixtape 5 club. 6 bands were participating, and the entrance was free of charge for all under 18. The rest of the tickets went to support the construction of TRAP. More info, photos and special video in the attached links.
We have organized Hip-Hop concert in one of the biggest schools in Sofia, 97 SOU in Lulin. Hundreds of children watched the bands playing, a bycicle demonstration and participated in the Hip-Hop workshop after that. More info, photos and special video in the attached links.
TRAP fest Open Air - 24.05.2017
This was one of the biggest events we created up to now. In addition to the bands we organized tens of workshops, in which all young people were able to participate - arts, painging, music, rhytm, handmade activities and many others. The event took place in the biggest open air club in Sofia, and the entrance was free of charge. We made it on 24th of May - one of the greatest holidays in Bulgaria, and we used the case to promote our cultural and historical heritage. We will be releasing a video soon so stay tuned in our YouTube channel and Facebook page!
Photo contest - end date 16.07.2017
Trotoara started a Photo contest for all under 18. The photos should be made with a smartphone or a tablet and should be uploaded not later until 16th of July. There are several rewards the first one of which is GoPro HERO5 Session. You can check all of the uploaded photos up to now in our Facebook page.
Volunteer action - 3rd and 4th of June 2017
At the end of this week we will hold a volunteer action in TRAP place. We need to clean it up, to throw out garbage and construction materials, to paing and renovate it. We will need at least 20 volunteers, so if you want to come and help us please do not hesitate to contact us!
