Hello!
Back in December, you believed in a vision for the children of Cartagena. Today, I am thrilled to share that because of your incredible generosity, the physical infrastructure of our new AI Lab is officially finished!
I’ve attached a few photos that capture an incredible transformation. Just two months ago, the second floor of the building you helped us finish was nothing but raw concrete and dust. The goal of our December campaign was to complete this space, and step by step, the walls were painted, the wiring went in, and that dusty construction site completely transformed.
The moment it all became real was when the kids cut the inauguration ribbon, stepping into a room built entirely for them.
The most powerful moments, however, are in those final photos:
The Next Step
- A young boy completely engaged as he uses AI.
- A room full of kids erupting in pure, genuine joy as they experience AI technology for the first time.
Now that the physical space is a reality, our next focus is education. The next step is to provide these kids with immersive English and practical technology skills, giving them the essential tools they need to escape poverty. We will be launching this program later this year, and we are super excited to see the results!
Thank you for laying the foundation with us. Let's fill this room with the technology these kids deserve.
