Project Update – Maya Women Development Hub
Dear Donors,
Thank you for your continued support and for believing in our vision of empowering indigenous Maya women and girls in the Yucatán Peninsula.
Over the past few months, our team has been actively working to secure long-term funding that will allow us to fully implement and expand the Maya Women Development Hub. We have dedicated significant effort to identifying and applying for various international grants and funding opportunities that align with our mission of supporting Indigenous women through education, leadership, economic empowerment, and community development.
While we have made encouraging progress in developing new partnerships and funding proposals, donations received over the past month have been very limited. To ensure that the project can continue moving forward, additional financial support is essential.
Every contribution, regardless of its size, helps us get one step closer to creating a sustainable support system for 500 Maya women and girls. Your donations help us continue preparing educational activities, coordinating with our local partners, developing new funding opportunities, and laying the foundation for long-term impact within the communities we serve.
Alongside our fundraising efforts, we remain in close contact with our partners in Mexico and continue working on future collaborations that will strengthen the project's sustainability and reach.
If you are able to support us with a donation or by sharing our campaign with your friends, colleagues, or networks, it would make a meaningful difference. Every donation brings us closer to ensuring that Maya women have greater access to education, entrepreneurship opportunities, mentorship, and the resources they need to build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your continued encouragement and generosity give us the confidence to keep moving forward.
Together, we can help create lasting opportunities for Indigenous Maya women and their communities.
With gratitude,
The ICDO Team
