By Ahmad Abojaradeh | Executive Director
When we started this campaign a few months ago our aim was to continue our journey to creating transformational curriculums that can be used all around the world to support individuals on their journeys for self-actualization. With every step, we have been uncovering more and more needs and gaps that are in need of our curricula. Furthermore, we have learned that as self-actualization is a life long process, support is needed following our training to be effective during the challenges that arise after growth and that allows individuals to transform.
We are enamored to announce the launch of three fellowships, each lasting a year and bringing our trainings to individuals that we haven't been able to reach before. The first fellowship will support and center Disabled and LGBTQ+ Homeless youth in Central CT, the second supporting girls and young women refugees and affected by patriarchal violence in Jordan, and finally, a global fellowship bringing together individuals from all backgrounds and experiences. 2019 is going to be a busy year, but with your support, we'll be able to reach more individuals than ever!
This Thursday 2/28 we'll be competing for a top spot in the girls fund competition. Over the course of two weeks, we will be competing with non-profits around the world to receive an additional $10K+ boost for the year to make our girls empowerment program sustainable. Winners for the campaign will be selected by the highest number of donors making the minimum donation or above. Return thursday and support us https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/support-the-empowerment-of-girls-and-young-women/
These past few months have been busy, with our schedule filling up for 2019, and hiring our first paid Executive Director, we can not wait to continue reaching individuals all around the world!
