In an emotional event celebrated at a Caracas auditorium, 250 people, including youth and adults trainees from SUPERATEC centers, were certified for completion of the Entrepreneurial Program in Digital Editing and Technical Support, the Administration and Service Program, the Micro Entrepreneurial Program, and the Digital Inclusion courses.

Family members, social investors, board members, and staff from the organization attended the event. A panel of alumni from the centers of Las Mayas, Antimano, Petare and Catia, shared with the public their testimonies and highlighted how SUPERATEC has positively changed their lives.

Volunteers and donors like yourself were recognized as a fundamental part of the organization, facilitating the completion of activities at the training centers. Carlos, a SUPERATEC participant, added the musical note to the activity with a moving performance, and a group of female alumni shared their dance talents.

SUPERATEC is a Venezuelan non-profit organization founded in 2002 that provides technological training and opportunities for self-development to youngster and adults from underserved communities as a tool for life.  SUPERATEC is built on three pillars: education, technology and entrepreneurism.

Our main program is the PFS which is a 120 hours of training program (66 hours of technology, 34 hours of human development and 20 hours of job skills). The ultimate goal is to provide youth and adults with professional skills for a successful inclusion in the job market or entrepreneurism.

The Job Bank is our main catalyst of change, since we place our students in a formal job in companies that offer them the opportunity to continue their personal and professional advancement. Over the years we have experienced our alumni enhance their lives now holding positions as Department Heads or Managers. But most important for us is the feedback of their families when they share their testimonies on how the SUPERATEC`s program impacted their lives.

SUPERATEC considers that everyone has the potential to be a Change Maker. We look to build up our existing network into a multi-tier community of people; as part of this process, we seek to link up with organizations who will work with us to broaden our reach and help us offer more opportunities to the many people who remain digitally excluded.
