So far, 2014 it has been a challenging year for Venezuelan people. We are going through a deep social-economic-political crisis and it has affected our life and work without distinction. We believe we are going to overcome these difficult times as a country and get back stronger than ever. In the middle of this crisis, the SUPERATEC’s team has continued the work creating opportunities to our youth develop their capacities.
We have a huge goal for this year, reach new communities all over Venezuela, and we are working hard in order to reach this objective. New centers were expected to be open by now, they should be wait for other time. But don’t get it wrong! We are still in our track, preparing the new centers and strengthening the organizations that are working with us in different states of our country.
At the same time, we continue our academic offer in our established digital centers. Since January we have offered about 20 different courses and currently we have 781 participants in our classrooms. The most popular course is Basic Computer with over 130 participants in which is remarkable the attendance of our elderly. The digital bridge is been shortened with these courses and we are training a new generation of involved citizens.
