This has been a wonderful year so far and we are working for making it even greater. Since January we have attended over 600 people in our digital inclusion center in Venezuela. They participated in at least one of our 13 offered short-courses like basic computer and effective communications. These courses are offered in all our centers in Capital District, Aragua, Miranda and Vargas states.
Plus, 200 youth have been certificated in our SUPERATEC Program within the three options we offer: Graphics Tools, Technical Support and Administrative Initiation. Every participant is being trained in technologies, job skills and our human values education in all of the offered options. Our Job Bank is monitoring the participants in their path after SUPERATEC: if they want move forward to further education, or start the search for a job placement.
We are aiming to attend new communities all over Venezuela and we are working hard to make it happen. We believe the access to new technologies can make a difference in the opportunities of people from low income communities and also we have witnessed how much people can improve their lives with new knowledge.
Last February we inaugurated a new center in Aragua State in El Consejo. This new digital inclusion center is created in alliance with the Venezuelan-Swiss Institute. They are currently offering the basic course in computer with 28 participants.
We would like to thank you for all your support in our work. Together we are making a great change in Venezuela.
Thanks a lot!
