Dear sponsors,
We are glad to update you on our on going project. On behalf of Sirisia community I take this opportunity to appreciate for the support you offer to his poor girls. At least at the end of the day we shall realise the impact.Kenyan rural girls face a lot of challenges to go school and complete only basis education due to lack of funds. Many girls become mothers before the age of 18.
Clinton's Foundation states"How many girls worldwide ages 6-11 will never start school?-16 million of girls will never start school. This number is double that of boys who will never start school.Around the world, millions of children are denied the opportunity to receive a quality education because of their circumstances. Many are poor and live in rural areas. Some face discrimination because of their gender, enthinicity, language and disability. And increasing numbers live in conflict zones and emergency situations. These disadvantaged children are more likely to fall behind in the classroom and may never gain the critical skills they need to succeseed .Despite the maginitute of the problem, there no common definition or metric inequality, and little is known about effective solutions."
The situation highlighted in Clinton's research relates to our status. WWBK would like to scale up this project with 4000 in 2years to come.We need more donors like you to tell a friend about our current situation.
The picture above shows Director Women Without Borders Sharing with one of our girls who joined secondary school last year. The girl is total orphan and ad talk during the holiday she has no where to stay .Not even relatives are willing to stay with her because of inflation in the households. Many girls are facing this challenges that is why you find them getting pregnant before they complete their education or they opt to get married at an early age.
SOLUTIONS
WWB plans to purchase land and set up a rehabilitation centre to keep this girls during the holidays. So that they are in save custody to complete school.
