Dear sponsors/Donors,
Greetings from WWBK children, caregivers, Board members, community, and staff.
We all acknowledge your support to Kenyan community.Today in Kenya we have drought ,we have less food in the household as such many diseases have caused lives.Poverty levels are very high as such many girls are most likely to drop out of school due to lack of basic needs like food, sanitary napkin, fees, school books and etc.
We want to take this opportunity to appreciate your efforts towards this project.May you be blessed so much as continue to reduce poverty levels, increase health in women, reduce early pregnancy /marriages and sustainable communities.
With WWBK connect the community to international community to grow.
This month of July , children are in school preparing for end term examination. Many of our school s lack computers so it becomes very had for children to succeed in Stem subjects. We are still struggling while we request for friends who can step in.
When children lack basic needs, they cannot be accepted in school ,this are full school uniform, shoe, socks, sweater and school to carry books and sanitary pads for change. On top of that we have some basic necessities in school that requires payment.
WWB serve children especially girls from primary school, secondary school,to college , vocational training inclusive. In every sector we have different requirements. With us alone we can't make it.
Type of food in this community.
This people survive on maize meal, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes etc cash crop is sugarcane which is on large scale but poor payment creating poverty in the community.Majority of women are illiterate so it contributes to high rate of GBV.In our community we lack electricity so they find it very difficulty to study at night. We we lack drinking water. The communities we serve have many challenges.
You can donate any amount once or monthly.$5,$10-100 and more dollars. To enable us go.
The children will get lunch, uniform, fees, shoes, book , school , sanitary pads, socks, exchange tours, vocational training.
May God bless you as you join our team.
