Transform a child's future through physiotherapy

I  hope you all are doing well. I am writing this mail to share with you a joyous moment in a child's life made possible because of your support

Velan joined us in April 2025. Diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy as an infant, his parents had spent years searching for help, visiting numerous hospitals and therapy centres. They came to know about our centre through other families and decided to give it a try.

Like many parents, Velan's mother believed that only sophisticated equipment and large rehabilitation facilities could bring about meaningful change. She was pleasantly surprised that through activity-based therapy, simple toys, and a caring environment, Velan began making steady progress.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when Velan stood with the support of a posterior walker for the first time. His mother's joy knew no bounds. She immediately recorded the moment and shared it with family members who had long believed that very little improvement was possible. The changes were small, but they brought something priceless—hope.

Beyond therapy, the warmth of the centre, the friendships, and the many small celebrations became a cherished part of the family's life. Velan looked forward to coming here, and so did his mother. 

With the rising cost of city life and family responsibilities, the family recently decided to move back to their hometown. On his final day, Velan seemed to sense that this chapter of his journey was coming to an end. In his own special way, he expressed his affection and gratitude to everyone around him. and there was hardly a dry eye in the room.

As a token of her gratitude, Velan's mother left us a heartfelt handwritten testimonial, which we are privileged to share with you alongside this story.

As we said goodbye, we do so with the satisfaction of having played a small part in Velan's journey and the sadness of not being able to witness the milestones that lie ahead. We are confident that he will continue to grow and thrive wherever he goes.
