Training of Transplant Coordinators
Two training programs were conducted in this quarter. The first training took place in Gurugram from July 29, 2019 to August 2, 2019. 61 coordinators were trained. The other one was held in Pune from August 19, 2019 to August 23, 2019 wherein 30 coordinators were trained.
Masterclass in soft skills and communication for transplant coordinators in Pune
On August 25, 2019 one-day Masterclass in Soft Skills and Communication for Transplant coordinators working in the field of organ donation and transplantation in Pune was organized.
Innovative step taken by women of India for Organ Donation
In a unique initiative the Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan of India, in association with MOHAN Foundation organized 18 rallies in total across various parts of the country on the 31st August 2019. There were 40 women who were part of the rally and every one of them also pledged their organs and received donor cards.
