Respected Donor,

Warm greetings from CHHASE India! We are profoundly grateful for your continuous and generous support through GlobalGiving, which remains the cornerstone of our mission.

In many traditional societies, art forms and cultural practices are passed down from generation to generation, often from mother to daughter. By involving women in heritage revival projects, organizations ensure that ancient techniques, languages, and crafts do not die out. Women literally become the bridge that connects a community's past to its future.

We are excited to share a new initiative centred around the Palmyra palm, a tree deeply rooted in the heritage of Tamil Nadu that traditionally provides over 600 sustainable uses. While the rise of plastic long overshadowed these traditional products, CHHASE is actively reviving this eco-friendly craft. By training 500 women from local self-help groups, we are turning low-cost, natural raw materials into highly profitable, earth-friendly goods. This project not only drives local economic growth but also offers a powerful, scalable alternative to plastic pollution.

Alongside this new venture, our core livelihood programs continue to thrive. Currently, 280 women are mastering vital skills like sewing, embroidery, computer literacy, and jewelry making. We are directly connecting these graduates to employment in local businesses or helping them launch their own enterprises through bank loans. Furthermore, we will soon expand our outreach by launching a new beekeeping and honey extraction training program specifically designed for local tribal communities.

Your generous donations truly make it possible to lift these resilient women out of poverty through practical skills. We welcome your valuable insights on our progress, so please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions in the comment box.

CHHASE is thanking you for your generous donation and all our monthly recurring donors. Such donations are our strength and it is pushing our projects to success.

We would love to hear your feedback, comments & Suggestion on our program.

Best Wishes,

Dr.Vincent paul.B.
