Schools in Thailand celebrate their summer break during the months of March and April, and as a result, our office took the last couple of months to focus on networking and building relationships within the community. With the type of outreach work Goodwill does in the Ubon Ratchathani province, it is essential that we regularly meet with schools, local leaders, and community members. Meeting with the community always encourages us to continue doing what we do, but also inspires us to look forward as we expand our programs and help bring more sustainable impact to the women in Ubon.
In hopes of strengthening our relationship with the local government we also met with local leaders to demonstrate the type of workshops we do for women in their community. This opportunity allowed us to gauge interest in our trainings, but also helped to build up their trust in us as an organization.
School is back in session so we look forward to sharing more with you in our next Project Report. As always, we are so grateful for your continued support!
From all of us at Goodwill,
Thank you!
