Our digital skills training project, which aims to equip 200 disadvantaged young people in Benin with practical Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills, has officially begun. We are pleased to announce that three young people have already enrolled in the program, which is an encouraging first step toward our goal of training 200 young people aged 18 to 35 in essential digital skills.
The project will offer training in computer literacy, office software (Microsoft Office), Internet and email usage, digital communication, graphic design, web development, digital marketing, cybersecurity awareness, and introduction to artificial intelligence tools.
Since the start of this project, we have been striving to reach a greater number of young people, particularly those who face barriers to quality digital education and employment.
We firmly believe that access to digital skills can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, freelancing, and greater economic empowerment.
We sincerely thank our partners and donors for their support in launching this initiative. With their continued support, we hope to enable more young Beninese to participate fully and confidently in the digital economy and build a better future.
