We have been diligently working to complete all of our research, find the best artisans to teach the course and gather all of the necessary materials. So far, we have been able to complete our research and find an excellent artisan to present the course, but we are still working to gather materials! In order for us to collect all of the materials we first have to raise our goal of $5,000 USD, but so far we have been able to raise $710 USD. This is able to cover the cost of the instructor and some of the materials, but will not be enough to cover the cost for the materials needed for each of the 20 women. For the women to elicit the biggest benefit from this training, they must all have access to the materials needed to participate in the practical.
We hope to be able to raise enough funds to allow 20 women to participate in the training, but we can not do that without your help! Every donation counts- no matter how big or small- and will make a big impact in the lives of these women. We hope you will tell your friends about Challenging Heights’ work and they too will be inclined to help us reach our goal of training 20 women in soap making!
